Meet the Staff

Pastor Gary has been the Senior Pastor here at New Hope since 2002. He and his wife, Debbie, have been married since 1980 and have 3 children and 9 grandchildren (who are the love of his life). In his free time he enjoys hunting, fishing, and small scale farming, especially blueberries.  Pastor Gary owns and runs Gary's Berries Blueberry Farm.  

Pastor Gary's greatest passion and desire is serving Jesus Christ and being all He wants him to be.  His  favorite verse (there are many depending on the day and circumstance) is Romans 8:28 “...all things work together for good to them that love God."

Debbie has been a member of the church since 2002 and has served as the Children's Ministry Director here at New Hope for 15 years. She and Pastor Gary have 3 adult children and 9 grandchildren whom she loves spending time with. 

In her spare time Debbie likes to read, walk, or spend the day shopping. Her favorite bible verse is Jeremiah 29:11 "'For I know the plans I have for you,' declares the Lord, 'plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.'" 

Pastor Ken has been with New Hope since 2021. Prior to that, he was the Assistant Pastor at 614 Church in Masury, Ohio. He is currently working on his Masters Degree and Ordination with the Wesleyan Church. Ken's most favorite type of discipleship is one on one, being there for people when they have questions, since he knows a thing or two about life. His life verse is Philippians 4:13 "I can do all things through Him who gives me strength". Ken and his wife Jackie have two teenagers, Aaren and Branson, and four dogs at home.
